Overnight Metrics Maintenance (July 3rd, 2009)
Bit.ly will be conducting metrics maintenance on Friday between midnight and 4AM EST. We’ll be deploying additional hardware that should eliminate performance issues users are encountering with respect to bit.ly link statistics.
During this maintenance window, history and info pages for a given bit.ly link will display zero clicks in all cases. Rest assured however, that the data has not disappeared. Once we bring the historical metrics system back online, your click counts will be restored.
The realtime metrics system will not be impacted by this outage.
