Metrics Update #3: The Return of the Metrics
As some of you may have already noticed, historical metrics have returned to the info pages. It took a bit longer than expected, but rest assured, the bit.ly team was working all throughout the weekend in order to bring back those juicy stats everyone loves. None of the data over the last couple of days was dropped and all of your stats should be accounted for in the historical charts. We’ll be making some changes to our metrics system in the near future to allow for increased reliability and continued growth.
We may at some point re-run data from Thursday onwards, at which point those data points would be out of the system for a few hours, but other than that, everything should be back to normal.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and just want to reiterate that we are focused on reliably delivering the features and performance you need, even as we continue to grow at a rapid pace.
